Our workshop, constructed in a field (hence the name!), Just outside Ashby de la Zouch provides us with the perfect base to offer a complete Land Rover care centre to our customers. Our rural location provides an easy to access hub for repairs, MOT’s and parts.

Over the years we have built a loyal, highly technical team of mechanics and support staff, offering our customers a personal service. We also work closely with Land Rover and Autologic, keeping us up to date with the latest advice and technology.

Managing Director, William Kendrick is passionate about Land Rovers both old and new and recognises that they are far more than “just a vehicle”. This brand loyalty is reflected throughout the business, with technical knowledge and experience the key to our reputation.

Our dedicated parts department carry 1,000’s of parts in stock, with next day delivery available or same day collection.

Every member of our team works incredibly hard each and every day for us to be able to provide a fantastic service at a great price. Each one brings a unique set of skills and expertise to our trusted business and we hope you enjoy reading more about the Infield team.

William Kendrick

Director & Technician: Founded Infield back in 2004 when it operated with only himself at the helm. However his love with Land Rovers extends way back to his childhood with a family and farming connection. Anything Will doesn't know about Land Rovers isn't worth knowing and is therefore a key member in all aspects of the Infield machine. When he's not working you'll find him elsewhere on the farm, working on his Series 2a Land Rover.

James Heafield

Parts Manager: Been with us since his return living in Australia. Started out his Infield life covering office staff holiday and now several years later he's still here. He's played a major role in creating the new extended parts store which houses over 3,000 parts, transforming Infield's ability to repair vehicles same day. A very keen cricketer which is where you'll inevitably find him during the Summer months.

Kenny Riley

Vehicle Technician: Don't let his age fool you although he's one of the youngest members of the team he is highly experienced.. Served his apprenticeship with us and now Infield's 'all rounder' who can turn his hand to anything from a classic Range Rover to a brand new Range Rover Velar. His Land Rover love extends to his own Range Rover P38 that's been in his family for years which you'll find him tinkering with at weekends. Outside of the Land Rover world you'll find him at the local fishing lake.

Lauren Eley

Service Advisor: Some of you will know Lauren from a Saturday morning which she has done for several years while studying. Recently she became a full time staff member working mainly with the Parts Department. So if you're after a part you'll most likely hear her voice on the end of the phone. In her own time you'll find her looking after her menagerie of animals or moshing out at a rock festival.

Kate Smithard

Accounts, HR & HS: You'll rarely catch a glimpse of Kate on site but rest assured she'll be working furiously away at home. She has a family connection being William's older sister and is an integral part of the team. An avid runner you'll find her roaming the roads in her running trainers of an evening.

  • Is Infield a Main Dealer?

    No. Although we are not Main Dealer affiliated we use the same technology and practices endorsed by Land Rover and are able to carry out 95% of what a Main Dealer can.

  • Do we carry out our own MOT's?

    Yes. We've been doing in house MOT's since 2018 with 3 members of staff active MOT Testers

  • Do we perform Wheel Alignment/Tracking?

    Yes. We have the latest 4 Wheel Laser Alignment Technology (See Services Page).

  • Can we Re-gas your Air Con?

    Yes. We can carry out both types of Air Con Gas on site (See Services Page)

  • Do we fit and balance Tyres?

    Yes. We have a fully fledged Tyre Shop with Tyre Fitting and Balancing Machines along with a stock of common Land Rover tyre sizes 

  • Do we carry out Land Rover recalls?

    Yes we can, this is done as part of our standard service.

  • Do we work on new models?

    Yes. We work on anything from Series Land Rovers to present day models such as the New Evoque

    No. We can carry out small to intermediate body repairs but large scale full body repair re-spray services we have to out source.

  • Can we carry out Engine Replacements?

    Yes. Individual quotes can be provided on a case by case basis as well as standard repair quotes.

  • Do we sell parts? And do we price match.

    Yes. We have an extensive parts store on site with over 3,000 parts both Genuine LR and OE. We will alwaystry to price match, call or email our Parts Department for a quote.
